Welcome to Fernie Women's Resource Centre

Since 1979 the Fernie Women’s Centre has been serving the communities of the Elk Valley, which include Fernie, Sparwood, Elkford and the South Country. Our aim is to raise the status of women, act as a referral and drop-in center, offer support to women and their families, and to inform and educate the public around issues concerning women. The Fernie Women's Centre will strive for equality and justice for all women and work for the removal of barriers to women's full economic, social, cultural, legal and political participation.

We are pleased and excited to be able to offer this website as another way for women and families to discover our resources, and make use of our services.
